Review:

Sugar & Salt is an erotic novella that tells the story of Janice Cane aka Miss Necia. Janice runs The Sugar House, which is basically a brothel. She's the Madam of Manhattan, and she has not regrets. She keeps her employees and her clients satisfied and fulfilled by letting them act out their most carnal desires.

Janice, however, feels empty. She may work in the sex industry, but she's left wanting more. So she turns to speed dating. Sure, she finds it a bit...pretentious, but she keeps going back, hoping that maybe something will change.

Enter Salt, a mysterious man who captures Janice's attention right away. As much as she hates to admit it to herself, she finds herself drawn to him and wanting to know more. So she returns to speed dating just so she can talk with him more.

Janice eventually decides to give him a chance, but she sets conditions, because she still wants to guard herself and isn't quite she she's ready for what Salt can give her. And when she discovers more and more about him, she withdraws, knowing that she cannot ever be with him.

Salt, however, doesn't want to give up so easily. He's adamant about discovering why Janice won't let herself go and be with him, especially after some very steamy encounters. He wants her, and he won't give up without a fight.

When the truth about Janice comes to light, will she and Salt be able to make things work? You'll have to read the book and find out.

Overall, I give Sugar & Salt 4/5 stars. It's sexy, steamy, and a really good read. There may be a small part that could be a bit...touchy for some people, but it's handled with care. The characters are likeable enough, and you can feel yourself wanting Janice to let her hair down, so to speak, and finally give herself what she's been craving all these years.

If you're into erotica, and want to read something exciting and arousing, pick up a copy of Sugar & Salt. You won't be disappointed.
