Ashton was gutted. If he had to confess anything right
now, he was annoyed he wasn’t her date tonight. Envious that some other man
would drool over her, admire, and maybe give her the life she wished for. He
had no idea why he suffered such feeling toward her. He felt she was magic, a
secret remedy, taking hold of his heart for her pleasure. He hated the fact he
had to stop chatting with her, it pissed him off. He felt satisfaction in
talking to the opposite sex so engagingly. He wondered if he could actually
gain the guts to have a woman in his life.
Of course, he’d been in sexual relationships, nothing worth
mentioning or talking about though. The women he’d shared his body with didn’t
appreciate him, didn’t take the time to explore. Maybe chatting to Holly was
the way forward, explaining what he wished for. Hell, he didn’t need
perfection, no such thing. In fact, truthfully, he had no idea what he wished
for.
He would openly admit he was a recluse, liked his own
company. Since having the privilege of becoming a bestselling author, he had
the life he loved; only there was something bigger missing from his life. He
sighed, resenting the man who was going out with Holly. He hoped he’d
appreciate her. Of course he still had much to learn about her, more
importantly about himself
He had to decide where and what he wished for his future.
He liked Holly.
He enjoyed listening to her voice.
He liked her humor, her wit, most of all he felt secure.
He tried not to think about what she would be wearing,
whatever it would be he bet she’d look sensational, breath-taking and have
another man idolizing her.

Gill is an indie author, loves romance and this is where she spends most of her
time although she writes several genre’s, or at least wherever her wild
imagination will take her. Holly has been writing since being a young girl,
having characters talking to her constantly, longing to get their stories
written. Finally, her dream came true over four years ago, when getting her
first contract with Secret Cravings Publishing for her erotic Desires series,
which unfortunately closed their doors in September 2015. In Holly’s spare time
she loves spending quality time with her family, camping, visiting York, seeing
friends, reading, listening to music and travelling around the breath taking
landscape of England.
