  My Review
**I was given a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review**

Somniare is one of those books that is intriguing, yet also strange and, at times, confusing. I liked it, but there were a couple of times I felt like I had missed something because I wasn't sure what was going on. I had to go back and re-read a few times just to make myself understand. That might've just been me, though.

Somniare is a dream land that witch Remy sends herself to when she is murdered. Not only does she have no idea who murdered her, or why, but she also has to deal with nightmarish creatures who either want to steal her memories or eat her. To add the icing on the 'this sucks' cake, she also can't use her magic or she'll die for real. What's a girl to do?

I really liked the story. It's young adult fantasy, but it will appeal to readers of all ages, I think. I especially loved the fact that Remy's familiar was a kitsune. Foxes are my favorite animal, and I think kitsunes are awesome. I also really liked the cover. It's bright and colorful.

The plot moves along at a decent pace, and you've got characters you like, as well as characters you hate. Remy is likeable, as is her kitsune. Miles is another character I really liked, even though he isn't in the story too much. I was a little iffy on Kiernan. He's got secrets, and he's not exactly the nicest person, but he's not someone you can really hate. Jared, on the other hand, is awful and very much worthy of hating.

Overall, I thought Somniare was a really good read. I'm looking forward to the sequel. I rate it four stars!
