squeezed her eyes tight and pulled her pillow up around her face, as if to shut
out the bitterness. She took a deep breath and blew it out hard. Willed herself
to allow a glimmer of hope chase away the fear. This mania would not win. Tomorrow is a new day. She pushed that
thought to the forefront and held on tight. The sun would come out again. And
there would be light.
