Will a demon-hunting priest and a wizard bent on world dominion end Shaker’s happiness with his human Mistress Debbie?
CEO Debbie and demon Shaker’s first year of partnership was a smashing success for both Pandora Productions and their own new intimate relationship, ending with the announcement of their engagement last New Year’s Eve. Shaker now inhabits a human host, Pandora’s rising action star Jett Black, putting the possibility of a family within Debbie’s tentative grasp as the couple pledges their love at the altar. But as before, one crisis after another ensues, beginning with Titan’s push to assimilate Pandora and the death of Debbie’s father, bringing her back together with her estranged family, and into the sights of a demon-hunting priest, Father Matthew, who will stop at nothing to not only send Shaker back to the Hell he came from, but also ensure Debbie is free of sin…permanently. When Shaker is sent back to Hell, Debbie is left bereft, her team of allies decimated, her best friend in a coma, she must decide if she will succumb…or rise from the ashes and fight ruthlessly for everything she loves, no matter the cost.

FUN FACTS
·
I saw a large
vintage latchook canvas on Ebay that looked to me as if the design resembled a
bunch of demons breathing fire with huge spiders crouching around them. I bought it
and brought it to life with vivid yarn. Once it is finished, I’m not sure where
we’re going to put it. What room is best for a demon-spider rug? Probably not
the foyer. And the bedroom is right out, too…
·
Brief
scenes of movies being shot by Pandora Productions in Year of the Demon were actually penned by my father over ten years
ago. I found them a few years ago on scraps of paper right after he
died. I edited and rewrote them as needed to fit my story, as he would have
enjoyed being in print. These are the scenes of two little girls being held
hostage in the forest in the hidden lair, and the woman facing off against the
pack of wolves to save a little girl who runs across her path. I have no idea
why he wrote them.
·
I am an erotica author who often has difficulty
writing sex scenes. I sometimes get inspired and can write
one completely, but often I write the story, then “fill in” the sex later to
even out the story. I often watch sexy movies or series to help get me in the
mood. Outlander, anyone?

We take care of our local murder of crows in the winter, which numbered
nine last year. (I love murders of crows, which is why I wrote them into Year of the Demon as Myrrh’s
followers/allies and gave them supernatural powers). But the bird flu killed
off some last summer and others deserted, so we are down to three. If the crows
are late when I put out the nuts, the blue jays steal everything. To make sure the crows get something to eat
at least once a week, on snake feeding day I unthaw extra mice to put out with
the peanuts, so the crows are guaranteed a meal. These are always chosen first
by the crows.
·
I love German Shepherds as they are working dogs that are usually
reserved and serious. But my oldest shepherd is uncommonly vocal, and his noise
of choice is a sort of plaintive humming sigh. He used to do it just to
indicate he was anxious for his afternoon walk. Over the years, it’s grown in
use so he hums-sighs to ask to go outside, for a walk, for food, for treats, if
the cat or other dogs are getting attention, and now he does it just to comment.
He just woke up and sighed looking at me
from in front of a nice warm fire as I typed, then put his head down and went back
to sleep.

I write my
best work in my pajamas. Doing it right now, in fact!

My husband went out to replace the burned out garage light bulb
last August, which led to a hilarious domino effect of the next 2 hours. After
he finally replaced the bulb, he emailed me a deadpan list of what happened in
numerical order. I thought it was so funny
I put it in the Christmas letter we sent out to everyone in 2018.
