An Unexpected Adventure is a very good book that I could not put down.
It's about a small group of kids who are recruited to help who they believe is a scientist looking for thunder eggs. They soon find an egg, take it to one of their barns, and wait as it hatches.
What comes out of it is not what they were expecting, and soon the "scientist" finds out about it and tries to take it away to what he says is a safe place. The kids don't believe him when they find out what he really is.
What happens to the creature from the egg, and where does it go?
Read on to find out. 5 stars.

An Unexpected Escapade is a great book about a girl named Ana who brings a unicorn into the world simply by reading.
She and her friends soon have to find a way to protect the unicorn and return it to the mystical portal before a bad man captures it and does bad things for selfish reasons.
The girls, along with the boys from the first book, and the agent all make a plan to send the unicorn back home.
What is the plan, and does it work, or does the bad guy win?

An Unexpected Exploit is a really good book about a boy named Franklin who, to protect his family, shows the bad guy where the portal is, runs in to meet his mystical friend, then soon learns the bad guy also went in and destroyed a few mystical creatures and took magical items from them for his selfishness.
Franklin and his friends and brother try to defeat the bad guy while Franklin also fights to save him from terrible creatures who wish to harm him.
What happens next, you will be surprised.

Even as a young girl, Kandi J Wyatt, had a knack for words. She loved to read them, even if it was on a shampoo bottle! By high school Kandi had learned to put words together on paper to create stories for those she loved. Nowadays, she writes for her kids, whether that's her own five or the hundreds of students she's been lucky to teach. When Kandi's not spinning words to create stories, she's using them to teach students about Spanish, life, and leadership.
