Justice for the living. Vengeance for the dead. Judgement to the sinners.

Calian seeks one thing: vengeance. After a murder incident during his childhood almost drove him insane, he has vowed to hunt down all criminals. However, one night he fails to stop one such murder, and he soon discovers that it is just the beginning of a more sinister plot.

Reneia, Calian’s friend, holds a grudge. During her childhood, she witnessed the assassination of her mother and vowed to capture the culprit at all costs. Ten years later, she becomes an official member of Iremia’s City Guard when history repeats itself; her father is gravely injured in another assassination attempt, and the suspect is Calian.

Two friends—one driven by revenge and the other by justice—both are seeking the truth. But as they delve deeper into uncovering the mystery behind all the deaths in the city, they discover that not everything is as it seems, and there is an evil plot behind the incidents; one that threatens all life in Iremia.

The first book in the Celestial Chronicles. Contains violence and mild language.

Jennifer's Review
The Reaper of Iremia is a very good book. I enjoyed reading it.
It's about a young man who loses his family and wants revenge. A young girl also loses someone close and also wants to avenge them. Both go to training at the academy, and both pass with flying colors.
They are soon forced into a dangerous battle to save their city from someone very dangerous with an even more dangerous magical item.
What is it and how bad is the guy who wields it? Who wins the battle? Read on to find out.
4 stars.

Born in the Philippines, Kenneth Rocher Villa is afflicted with a rare disease called Morquio-Brailsford Syndrome. Bed-ridden and hooked to a life-support machine since he was 4 years old, he spent most of his years reading books, especially fantasy series like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. He never had any formal schooling aside from taking one year in a home school, and was accelerated to Grade 6 at the age of 9. But despite this, he decided to pursue the career he discovered he has talents: writing.

Aside from being an author and avid reader of fantasy novels, his hobbies also include watching his favorite anime series, painting and drawing, playing the piano, and being a not-so-pro gamer(debatable).
