Trust In You

From the moment she met him, Ella Peterson had questions. As always, though, she’s too shy to ask.
Older and sexy as hell, mysterious Adam Brook soon sweeps sheltered Ella off her feet; but is he as perfect as he appears to be, or is there more to him than he’s telling her?
Ella’s world has already turned upside down after moving from England to rural Kansas. She and her sisters were hoping for a more secure future, but instead find that life can be tough when jobs are scarce and the stakes often higher than anticipated.
When events spiral out of Ella’s control, she learns the person she needs to rely on most is herself and her instincts on who to trust in the future.
It’s just that her instincts are screaming at her to trust Adam; it’s what he tells her that makes that a problem.

Author Q&A
1. What is the first book that made you cry?

Wuthering Heights, such a tear jerker! I’m not usually one for reading the classics, but that is an absolute must.
 2. How long, on average, does it take you to write a book? It’s generally about one year per book, including the editing process, but it would be a lot less than that if I didn’t have a day job and a family also.
 3. How do you select the names of your characters?
I often Google names and pick one that seems to “feel right”.
 4. What creature do you consider your "spirit animal" to be?
Probably a labrador, because I’m loving, loyal, faithful and fun.
5. What are your top 5 favorite movies?Twilight Saga (all of them)
Hunger Games (all of them)
Dirty Dancing
The Jason Bourne series
And admittedly it’s not a film, but I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan.
 6. If you were the last person on Earth, what would you do?Curl up under a duvet and read and read and read. I’d probably die of starvation, but I’d never be lonely with all my fictional friends to keep me company.
 7. What fictional character would you want to be friends with in real life?
Sookie Stackhouse (from author Charlaine Harris). She’s such a quirky, likeable and fun girl!
 8. Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?
Don’t ever give up on your dream. It’ll be tough at times, but if it’s who you truly are, you’ll always feel incomplete without it.
9. What book do you wish you had written?
Dirty Like Me by Jaine Diamond, such a sassy, sexy and feel good read, one of my absolute favourites.
 10. Tell us 10 fun facts about yourself! :)
1.       I eat far too much cake

2.       I have a degree in Languages and lived in Spain and Germany for a while
3.       I always wanted to learn Latin and Japanese but never had the opportunity
4.       I’m a black belt in Judo

7.       I’m awful at remembering people’s names
8.       I once wrote ‘Love You’ at the end of a work email to a supplier
9.       I always text friends rather than call
10.   I’m a disco diva and love to dance salsa
 11. If you could live in any time period, what would it be and why?I’d probably choose the future, because although I love historical fiction (the Tudors and the Roman Empire particularly) there were so many diseases and life was really hard, especially for the poorer classes.
 12. What is your favorite genre to read?
Always Romance! I love all F/M tropes with a good story line, chemistry and characters which come to life from the page. My favorite sub genres and tropes include friends or enemies which are forced to co-habit, rock star romances for alphas with big egos and hearts, erotic romances and office romances.

Information about my book.
Trust In You is the first in a romantic suspense trilogy called Falling For You. It is told from the Heroine’s perspective and is a story about an innocent English girl called Ella who moves to America and gets dragged into a criminal underworld. Her wealthy boyfriend Adam is an intriguing character who is clearly keeping secrets, but can she trust him? The next book in the series is called Faith In Him and is all about Adam and the last book is called Believe In Me.
