Captured by Her Enemy Knight is a historical romance novel that has a cat-and-mouse game vibe to it. Cressida Howe has been trained to be a weapon by her father. Her entire life means nothing... until the day she's captured by Eldric of Hawksmoor, the man who has been hunting her after she killed his friends. Or so he believes. He's determine to get the truth out of her before he takes her to the King for her fate. But Cressida is determined to escape his clutches and hunt her father down instead. Unfortunately for Cressida, she's stuck with Eldric, and when the truth starts to come out, things get intense. Fast.
I quite enjoyed this book. It's an easy read that will have readers rooting for the pair to realize they share a common goal, and that they do belong together, regardless of the past.
Fans of historical romances will find themselves enamored with Cressida and Eldric while despising Cressida's father and his dark, evil ways.
