1. What fantastical fictional world would you want to live
in (if any) given the chance?
Amy Bartol is one of my Favorites. The world building in the
Kricket Series is amazing. I would love to go there first hand.
2. Did you want to be an author when you grew up?
I have always loved writing, however, my first dream was to
be a mother when I grew up. I love kids.
3. What is your most unusual writing quirk?
I have to have my headphones on… even if they are not
playing anything.
4. What’s one movie you like recommending to others?
The Proposal is my number one favorite. I have watched it a
hundred times.
5. How long, on average, does it take you to
write a book?This is only my second book. It took me around
seven months. The first book I wrote took me over a year. I have started
writing on the last book in the With Emma Series and I am hoping to cut my time
to five months (hopefully).
6. How do you select the names of your
characters?This is one of my favorite parts. I, sometime,
don’t have names until I get a feel for the character. I can have several
chapters written before I come up with a name.
7. Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?
Just write. It doesn’t matter if you suck. If you want to write a book … just write it. Everyone starts somewhere.

8. If you could live in any time period, what
would it be and why?Oh, the twenties or thirties. I love the way the men
and women dressed. They had class.
9. What is your favorite genre to read?Of course, romance!
Author Bio:
T. L. Mahrt is a former business owner, where she utilized
her education in cosmetology, barbering and massage therapy for several years.
She was raised on and is currently living on a farm in Nebraska, where you can
find her running barefoot in the country side with her loving husband and
inspiring children and massive dogs.
After having her son, who was born with Cerebral Palsy, she
made the life altering decision to stay home to care for her two children and
pursue her love for writing. She has a love for romance and poetry where, her
overactive imagination, along with her adventures and up beat lifestyle drives
her inspiration for her writing.
