The Calling of the Trinity

The fate of the supernatural world lies in the hands of the Trinity. Now that their powers have awakened, they’re one step closer to putting an end to the Darkness surrounding them. Or so they thought…

The death of Wren’s father brings an unsolicited visit from the Alpha Master of the Thornwood werewolf pack, and with it some troublesome news. Wren is faced with a decision that could mean the end of his life if he doesn’t choose wisely.

A mysterious book hidden in a secret room just might have the answers the Trinity is searching for. Perhaps with a little help from the past, a winged guardian, and new friends–the Trinity can persevere and rise against the Darkness.

Author Q&A
1. Did you want to be an author when you grew up?
Always. I just never thought it would be possible.

2. How long, on average, does it take you to write a book?
It depends on the flow and how distracted I am with life. If I can truly focus on my writing and nothing else, I can probably finish a book (before editing begins) in four to six months. If I’m writing multiple stories at once, it takes a bit longer.

3. How do you select the names of your characters?
Most of my main characters are given names that mean something, and usually from Irish/Welsh origins. It helps me form their personalities.

4. If you were the last person on Earth, what would you do?
Well. Assuming animals are left behind, I’d probably have to do a whole lot of rescuing. It’s a completely unrealistic feat for one person, but I would do my part to save what I can, and once that was done, I’d break into vintage car museums and steal a bunch of the classics and take them for a spin. Then I’d take my 1979 Firebird across the continental US and explore National Parks with my favorite canine companions. There would probably be a shopping spree in the mix (sans cash) and then I would spend the remainder of my life trying to create life via clones and weird science.

5. What book do you wish you had written?
I have to pick just one? Oh man… That’s tough. It would probably have to be Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, or The Hunger Games.

6. If you could live in any time period, what would it be and why?
There are time periods I would like to visit, but I’m not sure I would choose to live in any of them. I’d like to visit the 1890s for the clothes and transportation. Especially as a lady born into a high-class society. I think it would be cool to go to dinner parties and have ballroom dances. I also romanticize the 30s and 40s for the slower, laid-back way of life and the fashion choices. The music and cars were pretty incredible, too. There’s good and bad with everything though.

7. What is your favorite genre to read?
I am such a sucker for the supernatural. I love magic and make believe, so that’s usually the genre I tend to gravitate towards in both reading and writing. Add in a little romance and a killer plot and I’m hooked.
