Author Interview
How did you do research for your book?
I research the details necessary for any story including locations, objects, and occupations I draw from my life story to construct and write the novel.
There are many books out there about
romance. What makes yours different?
Being
in love and loving has been the foundation of my life. Yes, I have a successful
life. I enjoy observing couples who have achieved all the levels of love or are
plummeting into separation. These experiences have given me an unusual
sensitivity on writing the language and story twists in love’s journey.
Do you get writer’s block? What helps you
overcome it?
I
occasionally experience writer’s block. First, I recognize the problem exists.
I turn my mind into overdrive and begin writing whatever comes to mind. My
fingers are typing random sentences while my mind focuses on the story at hand.
I usually overcome writer’s block within one-half hour.
What is your next project?
I am
currently finishing the love story, PLEASE
LOVE ME AGAIN. It is a wonderful Kirsten and Noah romance set in a fishing
hamlet in Maine. They fell in love and promised to marry while attending
college together. Plans changed, and they separated for fourteen years. Kirsten
became a success story on Wall Street and Noah a police officer in the village.
Can they overcome fourteen years of separation and animosity to fall in love
again?
What genre do you write and why?
I
write romance to the exclusion of other genres. Like wearing an old oversized
sweatshirt while drinking coffee in the morning. While watching the world wake
up to another day. Romance is the warmth of your favorite blanket folded into a
happy ending. Horror and thrillers terrify me and author nightmares.

Please try not to spam posts with the same comments over and over again. Authors like seeing thoughtful comments about their books, not the same old, "I like the cover" or "sounds good" comments. While that is nice, putting some real thought and effort in is appreciated. Thank you.
