What happens when the right girl and the right guy meet at the wrong
time?
One thing that can be said about Quinn Pearson is that she has a knack for
doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. Like, the worst time ever. Take her
job for instance. One little slip of the tongue using the mother of all
swear words while reporting the news, and suddenly she finds herself with
over 18 million views on YouTube and her employment in jeopardy. If that
wasn’t bad enough, when she meets the man of her dreams, she nearly chokes
to death on a powdered sugar donut.
Thankfully for Quinn, the dashing Brit, Henry, finds her near death
experience quite charming. But just when Quinn thinks her luck is going to
change, she finds out her timing is all wrong again. Henry is off limits. Or
is he? Maybe it’s time for Quinn to quit settling for what life hands her.
Perhaps it's time for her to become more than just a girl.

Author Q&A
1.
What would you consider to be your Kryptonite as
an author?
2.
If you could tell your younger writing self
anything, what would it be?
WRITE THE BOOK! Stop letting your
insecurities and worries get in your way. Oh, and don’t waste your time on Alex
Thompson. He doesn’t like you like that.
3.
What is your favorite genre to read?
My absolute favorite is regency
romance – especially the proper romance genre. One of my favorites is
Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson. I also love chick lit or romantic comedy.
4.
Favorite childhood memory involving books?
I remember the first time I really
got into a book. The kind of book you can’t book down and had to read until the
early hours of the morning. I was eight and it was Tales of a Fourth Grade
Nothing by Judy Blume.
5.
If you could dine with any literary character,
who would it be and why?
Mr. Darcy. The end. I don’t think
I need to elaborate on that one.
6.
What fantastical fictional world would you want
to live in (if any) given the chance?
Oooh . . . I don’t
know if I’d want to live there, but I’d love to visit the faery land where a
Court of Thorns and Roses takes place.
7.
Did you want to be an author when you grew up?
I wanted to be a famous singer. So
because that didn’t work out, I thought I’d write books instead. I still like
to pretend I’m a famous singer in the shower.
8.
If you had to describe yourself in three words,
what would they be?
Funny, positive, mostly made up of
chocolate.
9.
What is your most unusual writing quirk?
I don’t really do anything unusual
– but I do like to switch up my writing spot to see if my muse is there. I
almost always end up at my dining room table, though. I think my muse likes to
eat.
10.
What’s one movie you like recommending to
others?
The Holiday! My most favorite
movie, ever.
11.
If you could own any animal as a pet, what would
it be?
I’d really like a hedgehog. They look so
adorable in the YouTube videos I like to watch to avoid writing.
12.
Have you ever met anyone famous?
Hmm . . . I’ve met
quite a few famous people. But I suppose the most famous was Justin Timberlake
and Britney Spears. They were both very nice. Well, Britney was.

Please try not to spam posts with the same comments over and over again. Authors like seeing thoughtful comments about their books, not the same old, "I like the cover" or "sounds good" comments. While that is nice, putting some real thought and effort in is appreciated. Thank you.
