My Review
The Goose on the Roof is a cute, fun children's picture book that tells the story of a goose stuck on the roof of a house. It's got an easy-to-read rhyming scheme that will appeal to young readers. In the story, a little girl discovers a goose making all sorts of noise on the roof of her house. She tries everything, including enlisting the help of other animals, to get the goose to come down off her room and quiet down. Unfortunately, none of the other animals seem able to help and also become stuck in predicaments. What's a little girl to do?
My son and I read this together, and we both found it to be silly and entertaining. It's an engaging read, and the illustrations make it bright and colorful to look at. Very nicely done.
Young readers will enjoy the overall story, and parents will enjoy the lesson the story teaches kids: how to solve problems.
5 stars from me!
