My Review

The Amazing Adventures of Wobblin Wobin is definitely an interesting children's book. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it's a pretty good read. It's about a metal bird designed in a shed and sold to a woman in France to use as a scarecrow. But Wobin is destined for bigger, better things. With the help of some new bird friends, Wobin discovers the joy of flying and gets to have lots of exciting, amazing adventures.
I think this book is definitely more for slightly older children, but younger readers who want a challenge may be able to tackle this with the help of their parents. I do think it would make a great bedtime story for little kids.
It also has a good message about being brave and having the courage to try things you may not normally think you could do.
4 stars.

My Review
Chantelle Celebrates Christmas is a cute children's book that teaches kids about the different types of holidays people may celebrate. Chantelle is a little girl (abut 6) who discovers not all of her friends celebrate Christmas. One of her friends celebrates Hanukkah, and another one celebrates Eid. Chantelle learns that even though her friends are different, and their celebrations are different, they're all still the same. All three celebrations involve faith, family, friends, food, and fun. Chantelle then decides to do something unique so she and her two friends can celebrate their holidays together.
I thought this was a cute story with colorful illustrations that kids will like because they can also learn about different celebrations. It also teaches kids that just because someone may be different, or they celebrate differently, they are also still the same.
The one issue I did have with the book was the editing. I normally try to ignore any typos or mistakes in children's books, but this one has numerous ones. Missing punctuation, especially. It did detract a little from the overall story.
Other than that, I enjoyed the book. 3.5 stars from me.
