MY REVIEW
I found the sets I reviewed (1 & 2) to be extremely helpful in terms of introducing kids to letters and some basic sight words. The illustrations are cute and colorful, and the books (each letter has a book, save for W & X and Y & Z, which are together) are short and simple.
As a parent to an autistic 5 year old who loves anything to do with letters and numbers, these books were perfect for him. We sat and read each letter story individually, and he's actually started recognizing more words because of these books. His reading ability seems to have gotten stronger, so we will definitely continue with these books (and the other sets) to help him become a more confident reader.
I would highly recommend these books to parents and educators, especially because I do believe they will be beneficial in helping struggling kids learn and recognize their letters, and become better readers.
5 stars!
