My Review
Bob the Banana Goes Bad is a cute children's book about a banana named Bob. Bob is worried that he'll go bad before getting picked to be used by Mr. Abbott. Bob's fridge friends band together to try and help Bob realize that even if he does "go bad", he'll still be perfectly useful, just maybe in an unexpected way.
I thought this was a cute, fun little story. Love the punny-ness (is that a word?) of the title. The illustrations are bright and colorful, and they bring the story of Bob and his friends to life in a way kids will enjoy.
It's a quick, easy read that kids will want to flip through again and again. I found it to be a delightful story to read to my six year old, and I think other parents will feel the same.
Definitely a book worth having on your kiddo's bookshelf.
5 stars!
Meet the Authors:
Steve Petzinger first created the concept for Bob the Banana when he was just twelve years old. His mother kept the original version, and over the years, his family urged him to publish it. In 2020, he decided to finally take their advice.
