My Review
I found I Can Be a Math Magician to be a unique, fun book for kids who enjoy numbers/math and learning new tips and tricks for different things. Some of the activities involve geometry, probability, ratios, multiplication, and more.
The book is laid out nicely and is set up in an easy to read and easy to follow along with way. There's an answer guide in the back of the book that go along with certain activities, so if kids get stuck or perhaps want to see where they may have gone wrong with something, they can.
I know when I was a kid, this would have been a book I would have had lots of fun with. I was a huge math nerd in middle school (7th grade, especially), and I had lots of fun with graphing (which is an activity in the book) and logic problems.
The only issue I had was some of the words were a little off-center and just a smidge outside the box. But nothing that detracts from being able to read and follow along with the activities.
If you're a parent with a child who enjoys numbers and math, definitely check out I Can Be a Math Magician. And don't forget to check out the other books in the collection as well.
4 stars.
