My Review
Dr. Marsha and the Case of the Missing Hot Dogs and Marshmallows is a delightful children's book. The illustrations are bright and fun, and the story itself is easy to read, with a good message tucked within the pages.
Dr. Marsha is a kangaroo. She has a cute little jingle (aka a song) to promote her doctor services to sick patients. Feeling unwell? Call 1-MD-Pouch.
When Dr. Marsha receives a letter from her cousin in Washington, she and her friends, Louie and Terence, hop on a plane and travel over to offer some assistance.
You see the hot dogs and marshmallows for the Fourth of July celebration have gone missing. Can Dr. Marsha help Mayor Milton solve the mystery?
This is such a cute book. Young readers will enjoy the rhythm of the story and the lovely illustrations that bring the story to life, and they'll enjoy helping solve the mystery of the missing hot dogs and marshmallows right along with Dr. Marsha.
There's also a good message about eating healthy. While it's okay to have hot dogs and marshmallows on special occasions, it's better to have things like fruit, granola, veggies, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
This is one children's book I can highly recommend.
5 stars!
