My Review
The Christmas Blanket is a beautiful and sweet children's book about the true meaning of Christmas. It's a story that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, and I may have teared up a little while reading it.
The story follows a little boy named EJ who goes to Rockefeller Center with his mom to see the tree lighting. He talks to another boy who tells him Christmas is all about toys, and that's all that matters. EJ doesn't think this is true, but he's not sure it isn't. 
Then, EJ meets someone, and his whole perspective changes. EJ discovers the true meaning of Christmas, and by doing so, he feels happy and warm. 
I do think this is a book every parent should read to or with their young readers. It sends a good message and will help children realize that while getting toys and other presents for Christmas is nice, it's not what Christmas is supposed to be all about. 
A delightful story that I would highly recommend.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Damiano has a passion for creativity, and his stories always contain a positive message. He also wrote The Christmas Blanket, which earned him a Mom’s Choice Award. In The Christmas Blanket, his character EJ realizes the true meaning of Christmas, which is not about getting presents, but about giving back to others.
