One woman wants to win a bet. One man wants to become a rodeo champion. One little girl may give them both something even better—from USA Today bestselling author Nancy Naigle.

“A commitment-phobic rodeo star and a divorcée with secrets find love in this wholesome romance. . . . As uplifting as it is sweet.”—Publishers Weekly

Working at a little shop on Main Street in a small town is exactly the break that executive Merry Anna Foster needs following her divorce. She’s made a bet with her ex-husband that she can live on the amount of money she’s giving him in alimony. If she can do it, then Kevin will have to stop complaining and leave her alone. But after three months of this new life, will she even want to leave Antler Creek?

Adam Locklear, bull rider and owner of the local feedstore, is having the best year of his rodeo career. He’s also a bit distracted by the pretty new neighbor living in his old bunkhouse. But Adam has no time for matters of the heart. He’s got his future all mapped out, and that future doesn’t involve a woman just yet. It doesn’t involve parenting a little girl either. However, Carly Fowler still suddenly leaves five-year-old Zan—the daughter Adam didn’t know he had—in his care.

Is it possible that the future holds a life even better than what Merry Anna and Adam had each dreamed of? One that includes both tenderness and even love—not just for each other but for Zan too.

Author Interview
1. When did you write your first book?
I started writing my first novel the year I turned 40. My goal was to write one book to help one busy gal through one bad day. I never thought it would be a career!

2. What sparks your creativity/how do you get your ideas?
I find ideas in everyday life through the places I go, people I talk to and events I participate in. I do love a good festival!

3. What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
I love spa days with my girl friends, playing bingo, and even the simple slower days that I get to sit on my back porch and enjoy nature.

4. What’s a typical writing day like for you?
I do my best writing at the end of the day when the world quiets down.

5. Do you listen to music when writing?
Never! I’d end up singing instead of writing lol. I write in complete silence. No television. No play lists.

6. If you could have a dinner party with 3 other authors, who would they be?
This answer changes day by day because I have so many favorite authors. I’m so lucky to get to have dinner with my author friends often and I’m so grateful to the inspiration that brings and the laughs we share. If I had to pick 3 authors I don’t know to have dinner with tonight…I’m going to say

1-James Patterson

2-Janet Evanovich

3-Danielle Steel

7. If you had to pick a celebrity to cast for your main character, who would it be? Since I’ve had a few Hallmark-type movies…I’m going to pick Andrew Walker to play our bull riding hero. He’s got the swagger and personality to pull that off. ;)

8. If you could travel anywhere in the world to write, where would you go?
I would travel in one of those fancy rock star buses and travel across the United States, writing in different places in this beautiful nation every month.

9. Would you ever write under a pseudonym?
Nope. My stories are from my heart and I can’t imagine making up a persona to author them.

10. Do you have a favorite food/snack/drink when writing (or anytime)?
Not really.

11. How do you choose your book covers?
My publisher handles all of that. I just gush over them when they are beautiful, and I’ve been so blessed with great covers from all of my publishers!

12. What’s one thing you’d like to say to your readers?
Thank you for taking a chance on my work. Every reader helps make my dream of making a living as an author a reality and I appreciate your part in that more than you can imagine! Hugs and happy reading.
