When we walk we see things
that we would have missed if we drove. Things like birds, cats, &
squirrels. When we walk we have fun spending time together. We talk and learn
how walking can help to care for our planet. Join Siena and her dad as they
walk to school and discover every little step counts.
This is the second book in
the Siena's Stories series. The first book, The Dance of the Snow Tractors, was
named a top book for children in the automobile category by Newsweek magazine.

My Review
Why We Walk is a cute children's book about a little girl and her dad walking to school. It's a simple story with a good message, explaining that even though other kids may take the bus or be driven to school, walking (if possible) is the better option because it's good for the environment and for your health.
The pictures are lovely and bring the story to life. It's a quick, easy read that young kids will enjoy again and again.
4 stars!
Author Bio – Siena is a real
Canadian kid who likes making up stories with her father. Both of whom choose
to create these books somewhat anonymously.

Please try not to spam posts with the same comments over and over again. Authors like seeing thoughtful comments about their books, not the same old, "I like the cover" or "sounds good" comments. While that is nice, putting some real thought and effort in is appreciated. Thank you.
