My Review The Adventures of Ozchickychop and his White Teapot is a cute, fun little story about two little boys who go on adventures with a magical creature with rainbow feathers named Ozchickychop. He lives in a white teapot in their grandpa's caravan, and when the boys recite some words, they're transported to new worlds on new adventures. In this story, the boys and Oz travel to the Land of Nede, where they have the task of rescuing a lollipop tree that gives the creatures of Nede the ability to talk, as well as making them peaceful and kind. Without the tree, they'll basically be animals with no ability to communicate or live in harmony. The tree was stolen by a giant and a wizard who are working together, and it's hidden within the large castle grounds. Can Oz and the boys save the tree and return it to its rightful place? With the help of some of the other unique creatures living in Nede, anything is possible. This was a quick little read. It's a magical story that will delightful older children, while younger children might enjoy having their parent read it to them. It's unique, but it has a good message there at the end. And the illustrations are simple, but they bring the story to life. A delightful story for all ages. 4.5 stars!

Author Information

Hi to all,

I'm still pinching myself in disbelief, as you probably guessed, I am not an author or an illustrator by trade, just a granny who spent hours on the phone, telling stories to my grandson, during lockdown. The Adventures of Ozchickychop and his White Teapot is one that I wrote down and, amazingly is now a published work. Huzzar!
