NICEST MEMORY I HAVE
We went to Santorini with my kids and parents. I fear heights and had a hard time going to the top of the mountain in a cable car. It seemed it was the only way in or out. My dad, who was with us, was anxious about the return trip to the ship. He was afraid he couldn't walk back up the hills to take the cable car back. We were both miserable in this beautiful setting as we toured this fantastic island. We stopped for lunch at a dockside tavern. My husband disappeared while we ordered. I was getting nervous, he was nowhere to be seen when all of a sudden, he pulls up in a boat with a small crew in front of us. He found someone to drive us back via the ocean to the cruise ship, so we didn't have to worry about heights or walking up hills. It was one of the most thoughtful things he ever did.

ReplyDeletePlease try not to spam posts with the same comments over and over again. Authors like seeing thoughtful comments about their books, not the same old, "I like the cover" or "sounds good" comments. While that is nice, putting some real thought and effort in is appreciated. Thank you.
