Heaven Sent's Main Message + Interview with Karen Abercrombie

My Review
**Disclosure** Many thanks to Pure Flix/Momentum Influencer Network for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.  Heaven Sent is a delightful faith-based romantic comedy with an inspirational message: It's never too late to find love again.
The movie follows Elise and Patrick, two older people who have given up on love. Elise is divorced and enjoys spending time with her adult grandson. Patrick is a widowed pastor who counsels other married couples when they are having trouble. Neither of them expects to ever find love again, but as they say, God works in mysterious ways.
A meeting at Elise's store, and then again at a speed dating event, puts Elise and Patrick on the same path. And when Derek, Elise's grandson, starts secretly recording the pair and posting them to his online channel, the whole internet starts rooting for their budding romance. But, of course, not everything is coming up roses. Throw in a meddling sister-in-law, a sleazy ex, and Derek keeping his live streams a secret, and you've got a recipe for disaster. Can Elise and Patrick weather the storm to find true happiness?
I really enjoyed this film. It's sweet. It's funny. And it's got a modern feel to it. Everything is online these days, and while that's not always a good thing, sometimes technology can work in a positive way. And even though Elise is upset when she discovers what Derek has been up to, she comes around when she realizes she and Patrick have loads of random strangers on the internet rooting for them. I thought that was kinda cute and sweet.
This was such a fun, feel-good movie, and I loved that it focused on an older couple getting a second chance at love. Everyone deserves a second chance (if they want one) when it comes to romance. I got my own second chance 9 years ago, and I've been happy ever since.
The characters in this one were wonderful. I think Kenny may have been my favorite, but I also adored Patrick and Pam. Everyone was great, though.
