What is the One Universal Constant with Humans?
We all grow and change.
Sometimes, it is intentional. Sometimes, it’s not. Life happens. I know it did
in my world.
While
training for a marathon, I was badly injured. That injury sent me on a long
recovery journey. One I had not planned on, expected, or was prepared to take.
Suddenly, I
found myself having to learn to walk, talk, think, and many other things all
over again in life – at the age of 40.
Life certainly
happened – at no fault of my own. Have you ever been there? Have you ever had
something happen outside your control? Sometimes things outside our control are
good, other times they are not. Whether it is a big new opportunity that has
you stopped or a challenge that you face, we have the ability to come out on
top. How do I know that? I am here writing this to you right now after being
told over and over I would never function beyond that of a young child again in
life.
And that is
why I wrote this book. You see, knowing how others do things and adapting them
to your life is the fastest way to go from point a to point b. I used the
lessons in this book to reclaim my life, take bigger steps, get huge positions,
start my own company, and even become a #1 best-selling author – following a
traumatic brain injury when some of the best physicians in the world had
limited expectation of my healing.
After my
accident, I saw so many people stuck, unwilling or unable to take the next step
in their life. It was everywhere around me. I knew how to move forward. I had
taught thousands of executives and leaders how to do that in their businesses. But
the steps I taught were too complex for my functioning level, I needed simple.
So, I simplified the steps greatly and was able to move forward. Before my
accident, I never understood fully how much we, as adult, LOVE to complicate
things! Simplicity is our friend. And that is why I am sharing the lessons in
this book in their simplistic form with the world. They allow us to take action
and action is key.
What else is a universal constant with humans? I believe the biggest challenge
we face in life to become all that we have the possibility of becoming. Become
unstoppable at becoming what’s possible.

Sounds like a great read.
ReplyDeletePlease try not to spam posts with the same comments over and over again. Authors like seeing thoughtful comments about their books, not the same old, "I like the cover" or "sounds good" comments. While that is nice, putting some real thought and effort in is appreciated. Thank you.
