My Review
**Disclosure**
Many thanks to Pure Flix for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.

God’s Country Song is an emotional yet sweet movie that will tug at your heartstrings but also make you smile. It’s a story about redemption, second chances, and discovering what’s most important in life.
The movie follows Noah Bryan, an up-and-coming country singer who has big dreams. But that train derails when his past catches up to him. Now, Noah has to figure out how to balance his desire for fame and fortune with his new responsibilities. Can he manage to make both work, or will he give up one for the other?
I found this to be a lovely little film. It’s heartfelt and inspiring, and it features some pretty good music too. I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of country music, but I enjoyed the songs in this movie. I also thought the little boy who played JJ was adorable and so sweet. He definitely adds a lightheartedness to the film, especially since it can get a bit heavy sometimes.
I thought the actor who played Noah did a good job of showcasing a carefree man with bold aspirations, a struggling man dealing with the repercussions of a moment from his past, a man dealing with grief and addiction (he drinks quite a bit), and a man who ultimately realizes he needs to get his priorities straight before he loses everything. He’s a conflicted man with a lot going on, but he’s ultimately a good soul who has lost his way and just needs a small nudge to get him back on the right path.
If you’re a fan of movies that feature characters you can root for (and who come across as real people you may know in your life), catchy country songs, and emotional moments that will make you tear up but also smile, give God’s Country Song a watch. Streaming now on Pure Flix!
